Gaming Informatics has been awarded a contract to build and install a workflow system for Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake Minnesota.

more » Mystic Lake Casino, the third largest tribal casino in the country, issued a solicitation to vendors to develop a machine audit and registration system (MARS). The system is to be used by both the Gaming Commission and Casino Operations to improve the management of the more than 4,000 slot machines located in two facilities.

The first phase of the MARS project has been implemented. Using Gaming Informatics’ handheld technology the gaming commission was able to re-license the casino floor in less than a day. The process previously required freezing the casino floor for multiple weeks. “The system has only begun to deliver efficiencies,” said Jim Ross, Gaming Informatics’ CIO.

Gaming Informatics was invited to make a presentation of its software to a meeting of the Oregon Association of Indian Gaming Commissions.

According to Randy Westbrook, Gaming Informatics’ Oregon representative, the company has been awarded a contract to install the IRIS System at the Seven Feathers Casino located in Canyonville, Oregon. The casino is operated by the Cow Creek Tribe of the Umpqua Band of Indians.

Gaming Informatics LLC announced an association with Tina Danforth. Ms Danforth is currently serving as Gaming Commissioner for the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. She previously served as Tribal Chair for the tribe.

more » Ms. Danforth will be providing strategic advice to Gaming Informatics as it develops new products to meet the needs of tribal gaming commissions. “Tina has a wealth of experience that we know will better help us design products that meet the needs of tribal regulators,” said George Lightbourn, President of Gaming Informatics. “We are delighted to have her input into future directions for the company.”

Ms. Danforth said, “The IRIS System developed by Gaming Informatics meets a real need for gaming commissions. Gaming Commissioners and commission staff all take our responsibilities seriously and the tools that Gaming Informatics has developed help us meet those responsibilities.” She will also be chairing an advisory body that will oversee future strategic direction for the company.
